6. IR clearly shows two peaks at 2600 and 2700 Cm-1 for C-H stretching of aldehyde

it also shows C=O stretching at 1700 cm-1 for aldehyde carbonyl

all the above indicates the presence of aldehyde functional group

compound A has aldehyde group.

answer is Compound A (Benzaldehyde)

7. IR does not shows any broad peak above 3000 cm-1 ,

it must not be alcohol , carboxylic acid or Amine or primary amide

It shows carbonyl stretching at 1700 cm-1

the above data indicates it is a ketone

so answer is B
