The strong band at 2865 – 2975 cm-1 is for aliphatic C-H stretching
The band at 3025 cm-1 is for aromatic C-H stretching
The band at 1490 cm-1 is for aromatic C=C stretching
Therefore compound must aromatic compound with alkyl substitutent
