The ideology used in past for judging and punishing people should not be used in this day and age. People who followed this kind of ideology twisted the terms to suit their own needs. A simple example is when in early century people used these practices to put fear in people and targeting people so that their own agenda can be fulfilled. Now if we bring back the old ideology and follow the rules of book, then there will arise a conflict that will lead to war. As there are many religion in the world so what now might hold true for one person might be against the religious view of another person. Now comes the part of judging people on crime based on laws of book, then I think that’s another insane idea as things are different now and we have a system that deals with this kind of situations. So in my opinions the ideology of these books should be kept for reading purposes only, there is no practical implementation of them in this era. Now many people may feel conflicted by this statement but the truth is people uses these practices just to secure their own profit and good. Like there was a time people, especially woman are burned alive because people in power said that and they used books and fear of god to turn public against them. But as people nowadays have become more and more aware of what’s right and wrong these kind of practices won’t be justified now.
