Answer #1

Answer: Older adult are the people who are prone to many of the diseases as with the increase in age the body cells also gets old. The physical changes occurs such as loosened skin, less energy, low vision, body get loosened.

There is greater risk of developing cataract during old age, specially people having diabetes. They are more prone to many of the diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, fall, dementia etc. The social factors affects alot as at home most of them have noone to take care of them, they feel lonely which also decreases the chances of getting well. The society or the community doesn't bother about this age group. Only certain community which is mainly focused on this age group take initiative to do good for them.

Nurse should intervene the health of this group and provide better care plan. Proper diet and exercise should be included in their daily regime.
