Since, V = mt + C, this implies that
V(0) = m(0) + C
25000 = 0 + C
C = 2500
Now, after 10 years, V(10) = $2000,
So, V(10) = m(10) + C
2000 = 10m + 25000

Hence, the required equation is V(t) = - 2300t + 25000
