SOLUTION:-

A) if the amount is withdrawn from traditional 401(k) Accounts then the full withdrawal amount shall be subject to tax and 10 percent penalty

Tax on $20,500 withdrawal = 24% of 20,500 = $4920

10% penalty on $20,500 = $2050

AMOUNT RECEIVED AFTER TAX AND PENALTY = $20,500 - $4920 - $2050

=$13530
