The Four (4) P’s of Marketing

For this assignment, list out and describe the four Ps of the marketing mix. Explain how a business would use these four P’s to market to customers.

  1. List out and define (in your own words, not copied from the book or internet) the 4 P’s.
  2. Provide an example of a business and how you perceive they use each P to market their products.
  3. Provide an example of how a company is using the 4 P’s to create a sustainable marketing plan and contributing to corporate social responsibility.

The four P's are the :

1. Product which means the goods and services an organisation is dealing in.

2. Place which means the location where the good is marketed. For example in some cases placement may refers to placing in certain stores but it may also refer act of placing order on television or internet.

3. Price which means what onsumer willing to pay in exchange of the goods or services the organisation is offering them. For example an organisation may fix lower prices in order to enter the market.

4. Promotion which wholly includes advertisement i.e. the solicitation of more people towards the purchasing or availing of goods or services.

For example, In the digital age the place ane promotion factors are as much online as offline.specifically where a product appears on a company web page or social media, as well as which types of search functions triggers corresponding,targeted ads for the product.
