Socialization is the process of internalizing the norms and beliefs of a society.

In other words it is a way in which the society transmit its cultural beliefs into its members and the way in which it's members internalize the beliefs, values, and norms of a society and learn to act as a member of that particular society.

Example of primary socialization :

If a child see a discriminatory approach or opinions  of her parents to a minority worker or a group, the child thinks that the particular behavior of parents are acceptable to the society and could continue to have the same attitude or opinion .

Example of secondary socialization :

The teenager joins to a new college for the further studies.. It is an example for secondary socialization where she is going to follow all the norms of new environment
