based on the compounds structure why does toluene (bp 111 C) have a higher boiling point then ethyl acetate (bp: 77.1)

Generally more the no of Electrons ,more the strength of intermolecular forces and greater the boiling point.

Here Toulene is an aromatic and more electrons are involved in delocalisation hence had more boiling point while ethyl acetate is aliphatic with less no of Electrons (without delocalisation) hence less boiling point.
