Ans: A Toe board is a one of the basic piece of safety equipment for the persons who are working at the roofs and scaffolding structures. And the main purpose of the toe board is to prevent the objects , tools and equipment being falling from the roof /scaffolding structure. The toe board also helps to the persons accidently fallen/sided.

As per the OSHA standards , clause no 1910.23(e)(4) the standard toe board shall be 4 inches nominal in vertical height from its top edge to the level of the floor, platform, runway, or ramp.
