I have an assignment to head to this 3 floor penthouse and sketch an electrical floor...

I have an assignment to head to this 3 floor penthouse and sketch an electrical floor plan. This will be the first sketch i ever done. I will later design this sketch using AutoCAD. What are the important things i need to look for ? What important material must i have on my sketch?

In electrical floor plan show following things-

1) Location of different electrical equipment like switch board, lighting fixtures, Air conditioner, power socket, Ceiling fans, Computer location.

2) If conduits are used show in the layout and interconnection between different switch boards.

3) Show JB between two switchboard connection.

4) Show earthing of panel.

5) If any communication networks are there show proper clearance between electrical and communication feeders.

6) Show cable entry in the building through trench. Show the conduit through which cable to be entered of proper diameter.

7) Show pull pit and pull out box.

8) Check lux level of building as per IEC standard.
