Answer #1

Calculation of trend percentages:

Trend percentages= Current year sales / base year sales *100

Base year (20x1) sales= $3,60,000

For 20x2= 3,34,800/3,60,000*100 = 93%

For 20x3= 3,74,400/3,60,000*100= 104%

Note: The sale in the year 20x2 have decreased to 93% when compared to base year. But showed a growth to 104% in 20x3.
