Correct option is b) Both pyruvate dehydrogenase activity and the rate of glycolysis will decrease.

Reason: Excess of acetyl CoA prevents its synthesis by pyruvate dehtdrogenase complex.

Also, excess of acetyl CoA inhibits pyruvate kinase thereby increasing phosphoenol pyruvate which then inhibits Phosphofructokinase 1 and hence, rate of glycolysis decreases.
