Alpha = 0.05

Degrees of freedom is = n-1 = 28

For df 28 and alpha 0.05

T crtical value from t table is = 1.701

Rejection region is if test statistics is > 1.701

Reject Ho

Test statistics is = (sample mean - claimed mean)/(s.d/√n)

Test statistics = (158 - 162)/(10/√29) = -2.15

As the test statistics is not greater than 1.701
