United States is one of the key areas where migration takes place across the globe. This happens primarily because of the superior quality of goods and services that are offered for sale within the country backed by the fact, that the country has the best legal systems in place and the safety issues are relatively much lesser in the country.

Also, since the country has ample jobs available for both non skilled and skilled labor force, the country has been seeing a rapid increase in the total number of immigrants in the country. More so are people that are not immigrants but come on work or study permits also owing to the superior quality of education which is available and for offsite visits as the case maybe.

Migrant Population has been a hot topic which has been debated over the years in the United States. It stood at about 15 % of the overall population of the country in the year 2015 and has been rising since then.

It is correctly noted, that the same has resulted in higher productivity and economic growth for the country respectively. The productivity in most areas including manufacturing and engineering has seen a rapid increase over the years and so has management. Most immigrants have even been able to reach the top of the table with companies such as Master Card, Microsoft and others having immigrants at top level management that have superior skills and abilities.

The immigrant population have largely contributed towards employability since the government has stringent laws on allowing skilled or unskilled people into the country only under certain given circumstances. The skilled labor has primarily developed itself in the recent times owing to the success of the internet technology and is one of the key areas employing immigrants.

Their contribution towards the sector is paramount and goes even beyond locals at times. This has resulted in higher growth and overall productivity for the nation. Further, immigrants tend to have higher count in terms of women representation in the economy. And thus has translated into better representation of the same also.

Also the fact that migrants are different from the local population leads to innovations which the local population is unable to see. Migrants approach things differently and are known to change business and bring in new ideas which they saw in their culture which tends to bring innovation to a different level. This helps in increasing overall productivity for the country and a steady rise in growth rates of the economy.

More than 60% of the migrants tend to be employed in the computer industry which is rapidly growing and therefore can add fuel to the same.

Further, the fact that migrants tend to be more hardworking in general because they realize the amount of competition and the risk of failures is undeniable. This hard work is necessary to allow for permanent resident ship and most migrants tend to be extremely hardworking resulting in higher productivity in the country.
