A) Jury instructions are a set of instructions that are to be followed while proceeding with a legal case. The jury instructions are read out by the juror in the court of law before the case proceedings are heard. The instructions are formulated by the judge and concern aspects such such as how the case is to be decided, what procedures are to be followed and how the guilty is to be punished.
B) Discovery is a procedure in common law countries through which each party involved in a legal case may obtain information from the other parties involved in the case or relevant persons through interrogation, obtaining legal documents and other objects that may be a possible evidence for the case. If the other party is unwilling to provide the information, it can be obtained by filing a motion to compel discovery in the court. This procedure is applicable to civil cases only and not to criminal cases.
