1) equity in classroom means giving each student what they need unlike equality which ensures each student are treated equally. it is obvious that each students needs there understanding level and there demands from a teacher are different. equity in classroom says that teacher should provide the student or to assist them according to there demand and not uniformly. the issues arises in this respect are

a) sometimes teacher does not understand what the student is asking for and how to solve the perticular persons problem and they faile to provide equity in the classroom.

b) sometimes in a big classroom teacher often ignores if one person have any concern about any topic and they move forward with the class and that one students problem remains unsolved.

c)another issue can be that sometimes those who do well in the classroom are are being treated nicely and are offered more assistance than to those who are not so good in the classroom. which is a problem because the student those who are not doing well and are not that smart should be given extra care and attantion

2) to provide equity in the classroom one should understand the needs of each student, value there opinion and ideas and incorporate them while teaching, value there feedback on teaching and try to establish a fun learning environment which interests every student. one thing the teacher should definitly do to ensure equity is by getting students feed back. and to do so here are the steps.

a) prepare a questionair with suitable questions for the swtudents which reflects there opinion about the classroom, course, the teaching style and all the essential matters.

b) ask the student to fill the questionire after the class.

c) read each students feedback carefully and learn about each students need from there opinion..
