As a nurse, the nurse may likely to encounter several ethical issues that occur in health care. For example ethical questions arise in the following situations such as AIDS, Abortion, Allocation of health care goods snd services, confidentiality and privacy, honoring advance directives, DNAR orders, Assisted suicide and euthanasia, using extraordinary measures to prolong life, withdrawing or withholding life-sustaining treatment, informed consent, organ transplantation and reproductive tectechnology.

The policy of plan having been decided, the near step is organisation, and it is perhaps in this sphere that administration makes it greatest contribution. It helps in increasing managerial efficiency and rnsures snd optimum use of human efforts through specialisation and also makes use of sll resources, determines needs for innovative and new technologies in terms of cost effectiveness snd accomplish objectives.

Effective direction needs leadership. The need for leadership would be evident if use of authority, power and influence by msnagers in any organization. Carrying out of these decisions is accomplished because of the power of leader

The leaders role in an organization includes that he or she creates a climate that promotes followership in response to authority, recognises the dual pyramid of power that exists between the organization and it's employees, uses a powerful person to increase respect and decrease fear in subordinates and assists staff in using appropriate political strategies.

A leader evaluates the orgsnisational structure frequently to determine if management positions can be eliminated to reduce the chain of command, encourage employees to follow the chain of command and gives counseling and guidance to enable them to do so, supports personnel in advisory positions, models responsibility and accountability for subordinates, facilitates informal group structure, encourages upward communication and vounsel employees who do not follow chain of command.
