Answer #1

The patient is experiencing an acute respiratory distress due to burns with cardiovascular complication. Due to burns the oxygen supply to lungs are affected causing hypoxia,.It directly affevtsvthe myocardial and blood vessel activity of the heart.Due to burns the continuity in the capillaries and blood vessels are broken leading to small gaps making the blood to leak ,to stop this platelet are necessary but this are damaged as a result of burns causing prolonged bleeding time,PT,APTT and thrombin time.Simultaneously blood loss causing hypovolemia and decreased blood pressure

This is a possible Coagulation disorder or Coagulation abnormality due to burns

The possible treatment are

  • Oxygen supply to treat breathing difficulty
  • Fluid replacement to increase blood pressure
  • Administration of platelet ,fresh plasms if needed in emergency as per the advice of provider
  • Infection prevention by following aseptic techniques or infection control practice
  • Artificial ventilation if unable to breathe on own
  • Supportive care
