Discuss required spousal benefit provisions, including QDROs. Include potential hardships for either spouse as a result of these provisions.  Also, discuss what would likely happen if these provisions were withdrawn

Spousal Benefit mean benefit provided to former partner or current partner after when one of spouse dies. These benefit is also called social security . There are spme eligibilty criteria for social security benefit .some of conditions to be fulfilled are :-

1. They were married for a period above 10years

2. Neither of them remarry till age 60

3. minimum age to apply for spousal benefit must be 62

partner will get 50% of earning of spouse social security at their full retirement age

If these provision are withdrawn then their gonna be problem for partner at that age who are not dependent on anybody and they have no option other than old age home . so , instead of withdrawing scheme we should improvise early benefit
