Answer #1

4.5.E.) Platinum RTD relation,

☆ Platinum RTD transducer shows linear relationship,

For the linear relation, any intermediate value can be calculated by INTERPOLATION method.

Formula,

R-R1 T-T1 T2- Ti R2 Ri

GIVEN,

R1 1002, R2= 1382, T1 0C, T2 100 C

T 50°C, R?

50 0 R-100 100-0 138 100

50 x 38 = R- 100 100

BR=11992

4.5.f.) Same Platinum RTD,

☆ It shows linear relationship,

Formula,

R-R1 T-T1 T2- Ti R2 Ri

Given,

R1 1002, R2= 1382, T1 0C, T2 100 C

T =?, R= 115.2

T-0 115.2 100 100-0 138 100

15.2 x 100 T = 38

T = 40°C

In above first two question it is not mention what type of RTD it is,

☆ Mainly their are two type of RTD,

I.) LINEAR RTD,

II.) QUADRATIC RTD.

In question 4.5b.) If it is Platinum RTD then it shows linear Characteristics.
