No mass given, can you give me the answer to 3 and 4 also pls

1. A solid sphere rolls from a height of 8 meters down a frictionless track propped at 35 degrees from the table. What is its kinetic energy at the bottom of the track? (assume no lost of energy due to friction). no mass given

2. If the ball then rolls off the table (2 meter high) and lands on the ground, with a horizontal speed of 16m/s2,what would be the

a) horizontal speed when it lands?

b) vertical speed when it lands?

c) the total velocity when it lands?

3. What would happen to the acceleration if the angle of the track was raised to 60 degrees?

4. What would happen to the acceleration if the mass of the ball was doubled ?

Answer #1

3 for an objectsding down a lope a aoc Cacceler aonue ushich ac ouonwards ivide Ccc into au and a Sínce is alang the no aceel

Also , here since acceleration is g.sin(theta) and doesn't depends on mass . So acceleration does not change with change in mass.

If you still have any confusion then please let me know in the comments section.

Thank you.

please answer the following questions so I can understand, thank you very much! A mass, m, is attached to a massless string of length l; the other end of the string is attached to a rigid and frictionless support. While keeping the string taut, the mass is raised to a height h (see diagram) and released. Under the force of gravity (g = 9.8 m/s), the motion of the mass follows the dashed line (i.e., it's a pendulum). (a) Draw...

Thanks so much ahead of time! A spherical shell of radius 0.43 m and mass 27 kg initially rolls without slipping towards an incline at a linear speed of 9.1 m/s. If the ball rolls up an incline (inclined 35 degrees above the horizontal) without sliding. How high will it go?
