Nursing home provide residential care for elderly or disabled people.Nursing homes are used by people who do not need to be in hospital, but cannot be cared for at home.Here nurses have responsibilities if caring patients medical needs and also responsibilities of being in charge of other employees. Most nursing homes have nursing aides and skilled nurses 24 hrs a day.Some nursing home also provide short term rehabilitative stays following surgery,illness, injury.Its service in cludes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, planned activities ,memory care services,etc Some nursing homes are set up like hospital .Nursing homes provide services like monitoring medication, personal care, 24 hr emergency care, so dial and recreational activities. Also nursing home staff should be friendly, caring and supportive while providing care..Also activities should be included so that it gives a sense if relief, safety, give purpose to their life.

In future nursing home should be more like home, having a peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff and more room for fun activities. Old age and disabled person should have more care .Each individual should be provided with separate nurse so as to provide more care and to understand their problems . More fun activities should be included.Mediration facilities should be provided so as to relax their mind.
