Abortion is morally wrong?

I as a woman completely understand we have the right to choose, but I think abortion is morally wrong. The main question is: ending a pregnancy is considered a murder or not? Where is the line in between a fetus and a person? A living being according to the Khan Academy has seven characteristics: organization, metabolism, homeostasis, growth, reproduction, response and evolution(2019). But then, a mule is unable to reproduce...does this mean this animal is not alive? My point is, we still are not sure about what is life. Let's assume for one moment, this fetus is person, or at least is a living being, do we really have the right to decide to finish this life because of our bad decision?

I think we should focus more on contraceptive education, prophylaxis, prevention, that is, from my pint of view the best solution for this matter

Answer #1

Answer: Abortion should be considered morally wrong when it has been performed without any proper reason such as any health issues to mother or child etc. But if the mother has any kind of risk due to pregnancy then abortion should not be considered as morally wrong. It is better to prevent the things before it gets more worse. Using contraceptives is the best option but what about in the case where mother and fetus are at higher risk?
