CISM is a program that I was not fully aware of. Learning about it was so interesting and refreshing to know that there is help in the work place when something bad happens. A lot of times we think that a situation is not that bad, but to another person, the situation can be the worse situation that they've experienced. Having a program like this is perfect because it allows for a non-judgment program that helps with coping. Do you think that programs like these should be mandatory for every job environment? In my personal opinion, i think that it is something that every job should follow because you never know when something tragic can happen, such as a shooting, robbery, or death in the work place.

* CISM : means critical incident stess management. It is defined as the short term psychological helping process mainly it is focusing on identified problems, and also it includes pre incidence prepared ness, to salve the problems.

Yes, it's mandatory in each job environment.

Because, through this we can provide psychological and emotional support.

* provide behavioral modifications according to the situations.

* stress management provided by health care professionals.

* they will solve the legal issues, by law and orders.

* emergency health care services by medical professionals.

* they can provide early interventional methods for critical incidents.

* guide the peer groups.

* provide individual crisis interventions.

* in this the managers well trained and not only crisis interventions but also provides sress management and assessment.

So, this is mandatory in job environment.
