It is not so easy to always follow protocol. Most of the time ethical principles are not always clear cut, and you have to use your best judgment. I learned that sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and ruffle a few feathers to get things done. By this I mean doing the right thing is not always going to make people like you. In fact it can make many people dislike you. This could be very intimidating for the non-confrontational people pleaser of the world. However I think we can be comforted in the fact that even though we may not be the most popular people on the job, we are doing what is best.

Ethics are the norms or standards for conduct that distinguish between right and wrong .
Ethics is a code of thinking and behaviour govered by a combination of personal ,moral ,legal and social standards of what is right .although the right varies with situations and cultures .
Yes , doing right things are not always accepted by the people . It may changed based on the need of individual at that particular time .
We should not stick to protocols always but do not accept the wrong judgement if you know the truth .
It will be changed according to situation
Ex : if We take the patient with cardiac arrest ,as a RN should not wait for doctor and dont waste the valuable time of patient . Immediately take the interventions and safe the life.
As a human being We should follow ethics , no one can accept that if you follow that because they want pleasureness from you and what they need .
