Answer #1
Concepts and reason

Aromatic ring is a special type of ring structure present in compounds due to their structural properties like conjugation of electrons through the double bonds in a planar cyclic ring structure. Aromatic compounds are more stable. A compound can be classified as aromatic, anti-aromatic by using the Huckel rule.

Cycloalkane /cycloalkene are the type of alkane/alkene which has a closed structure. In a cycloalkane compound, the ring is considered as the parent chain.

Fundamentals

The compound which contain atomic ring obeys (4n+ 2)a electrons
rule, a planar, monocyclic, and at least three conjugated double bonds, whereas cycloalkane/cycloalkene ring containing compounds does not have conjugated double bond.

Compound contain cycloalkene ring does not have conjugated double bond. It has isolated double bond. It has a closed structure.

The following compounds contain aromatic ring.

Z
-
I

These three compounds are aromatic, because they satisfy the following rules.

• It should be planar;

• It should be cyclic;

• It should be delocalized –electrons; and

• It should possess the Huckel rule of 4n –electrons.

The following compounds contain cycloalkene ring.
