Answer: Stem cells makes 100,000 million new blood cells for body which we need every day. It is found in bone marrow and it acts as a body’s natural reservoir replenishing stocks of specialized cells that have been used up or damaged.

At present era stem cells are being used for the further research as well as to cure the disease. Stem cells have ability to remove the damaged cells and replenish a new blood cells.

Many research is going on regarding use of stem cells as it can also used to treat cancer. Stem cells are being used in diagnosis of the diseases. Treatment of diseases by replacement of neurons damaged by spinal cord injury, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease etc.
