Answer #1

25. ClF2-

The central atom is Cl which has 5 electron pairs out of which two are bond pairs and three are lone pairs. So, molecular shape is Linear

26.Q = delE + W

- 1275 J = delE - 855 J

So, delE = - 420 J

Answer is (B)

27. Moles of NaHCO3 = Mass / Molar mass = 23.2 g / ( 84.02 g / mole) = 0.276 mole

Moles of HCl required to neutralize NaHCO3 = 0.276 mole

Volume of HCl solution required = Moles / Molarity = 0.276 moles/ (1.58 M) = 0.175 L = 175 mL

28. (C) Bent

29. 3 CoSO4 ( aq) + 2 (NH4)3PO4 (aq) = Co3(PO4)2 (s) + 3 (NH4)2SO4 (aq)

The precipitate is (A) Cobalt (II) Phosphate , Co3(PO4)2
