Childhood immunization - immunization is the process by which a person is made immune or resistant to an infectious disease, typically by administration of vaccine. Vaccine stimulate the body's own immune system to protect the person against subsequent infection or disease .

children routinely get vaccine that protect them from more than dozen diseases such as measles, polio, tetanus, ddiptheria, pertussis etc

vaccines given in childhood are -

a) DTaP - diptheria ,tetanus, pertussis

b) polio - IPV

c) measles, mumps ,rubella - MMR

d) chickenpox-varicella

e) hepatitis A and B

f) pneumococcal - PCV13

g) H. Influenzae - Hib

Immunization is necessary as it prevent from various deadly diseases. But on the other hand there are some opposing viewpoint on childhood immunization. Some parents don't want their children to get immunized. They think that their body will get immunity from nutritious diet and healthy lifestyle.

They think that immunization is generally ineffective and possible source of autism. And this will lead to other disorder. Though there are very little side-effects of vaccination like fever,  

,malaise, diarrhoea etc.

There are some religious beliefs, by which many people oppose childhood immunization.

Another reason, is the personal belief or philosophy, by which people oppose childhood immunization. But this depend on psychology.

Safety concerns against vaccine is important point of opposing childhood immunization. News through media or internet about safety of vaccine influence people thinking about immunization.

Children with mild illness less than 2 years of age should not be vaccinated.

People concern about safety of their children against immunization, especially in rural areas people is low. This effect their immunity.
