A belt-driven air compressor has the crank mechanism shown in Fig. 1. The axes x, y, and z are mutually perpendicular. The bore is 100 mm; stroke is 125 mm; length of the rod is 225 mm. For a crank angle of 30°, the air pressure is 700 kPa gage. The belts are perpendicular to the axis OB of the cylinder. The tight-side tension is three times that of the slaekside. Make sketches similar to Fig. 3-16(b), (c), (d), and (e) for this problem, and place all necessary forces and moments thereon.
