Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard also offer the capability to connect to other computers on a network. In this project, you learn how to access this capability in Leopard or Snow Leopard.

To use Leopard or Snow Leopard to contact network computers:

1. Make sure that Finder is open.

2. Click Go in the menu bar and click Connect to Server. The Connect to Server window enables you to enter the IP address of a server or to use the Browse button to locate one (see Figure 9-12; notice that smb is specified to connect to a Windows computer).

3. Close the Connect To Server window (you learn more about using this utility in Chapter 10).
