(Design Process) In the traffic light controller we implemented in the state diagrams of Figure 8.39, if the timer of the traffic light goes past state four without the main controller seeing the TS signal, our traffic light will be stuck on yellow forever. You have been asked to make the design more robust to this unlikely failure. Add other states and/or outputs to rectify the problem. Do you need to add more states to either state machine or can the problem be corrected without adding new states?
