Question, “How do higher education leaders decide which proposed revenues and expenditures to approve and which to reject?”
I. Approving the right revenue model for any startup is crucial and will to a large extent determine its success or failure .in addition to impacting a bussiness' bottom line, selecting the right revenue model for one's business will determine the extent to which the business is scalable as well as its growth potential.
The best revenue models will always be the ones that match your business idea, while solving a pain point at the level of the target market.
Experimentation and Testing are the key to determine the optimal revenue model.
Cost also plays a vital role in selection or rejection of revenues we should keep in mind that from the customer's point of view the perceived value of the purchase always has to be higher than the price he/she is paying .
II. In the same way Education leaders decides the Expenditures selection or rejection but here some extra factors considered such as research on expenditures, cost of sales - the base cost of obtaining or creating product ,cost of equipment you have bought or leased for long-term use, that expenditures should bring value over time etc.
The revenues and expenditures don't belong these criterias are rejected.
