We know that the average kinetic energy of the gas

K=3KT/2

you can find average velocity of the gas.

But here Temperature  T in Kelvin.

So statement two is incorrect. (The temperatures of the gas can be calculated in celsius Fahrenheit or Kelvin.)

At 0℃ the energy will not be zero. In kelvin temperature T=273K.
