ANSWER- In medicine , the subject or the disease that the patient might not comfortable talking about is HIV or AIDS. HIV is a human immunodeficiency virus / AIDS Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. It damage the immune system of the body.
Patient might be shy to talk about it because or the stigma about the HIV /AIDS Are;-
- people living with HIV being insulted , rejected, people gossip about them and excluded from the society
- people who are living with HIV feel nervous about telling others that they have HIV due to this stigma
- person who is suffering from HIV/AIDS feel nervous or feel shame when he/ she work in between other people
How to reduce stigma-
- organise the programme which will reduce the stigma and discrimination in different sectors
- we will aware the people regarding stima and harmful consequences
- Remove the irrational fears regarding hiv/ aids
- Provide knowledge regarding HIV/ AIDS infection
- provide knowledge about transmission , prevention and treatment of HIV/ AIDS
