lower demand in material such as steel does impact the China economy as China is one of largest manufacturer and exporter of steel globally. china export around 20-25% of steel globally hence by lower demand it does affect china's economy.

As per Reports China has a huge investment in Australia's real estate, and with the decline in real estate market it does affect their investment as well as their economy.
falling community price does affect the economy as it is part of it.
