According to Leininger theory of caring , care is the essence of nursing

According to Watson's theory of caring individual healing processes can be strengthened through authentic caring relationship .

Swanson's care theory outlines five caring process :-

- knowing

- being with

- doing for

- enabling

- maintaining belief

Nurses can use these caring process to develop a cultivating meaningful healing relationship .

Nurse should assume the role of patient advocate when there is a breech of patients confidentiality and privacy .

I also acted as a nurse advocate when I was a student . One person outside from the hospital department was asking about the details of a alleged women in the emergency ,he was not a patients attendend and he might have come with the aim to harm the women so I acted as a advocate to ensure there is no breech of confidentiality and harm to the patient .
