Multiple questions , as per guideline only first one will be answered :

Solution: We have 1.5 L of 20% acid solution , we have to make it 23 % : how many ml. of pure acid should be added ?

This is volume/volume % solution.

20 % acid solution = 1500 ml

So, it was prepared by adding 300 ml of pure acid and 1200 ml of water.

  • In 23 % acid solution ; water will be 77 % = 1200 ml

so total volume of 23 % (v/V) acid solution = 100/77 * 1200 = 1558.45 ml

So to obtain 23 % solution from 1.5 L of 20% acid solution , ml.  of pure acid needs to be added :

1558.45 ml -  1500 ml = 58.45 ml of Pure acid.
