For Medicare enrollees it provides key preventive services without any cost; enrollees receive a 50 percent discount on brand-name drugs.

It prevents insurance companies from rescinding coverage.

Eliminates lifetime limits on coverage of insurance.

In the case of pre-existing medical conditions prevents insurance companies from denying coverage to children with by providing an access to all uninsured Americans having pre-existing conditions.
