The disciplines medicine, communication, and chemistry are relevant to have an insight into the research problem "the cost of generic drugs and brand-name drugs." It is a known fact that the generic drug is almost 80% cheaper than brand-name drugs. The US healthcare expense was reduced by $1.67 trillion during 2007-2016. Generic medications and brand-name drugs have the same active chemical ingredients and they are equally effective. The differences are only in shape, color, packaging, flavorings, and inactive ingredients. Both are the same with regard to their quality, dosage, strength, and route of administration. The factors that make the brand-name drugs costly are the expensive clinical trials conducted by the manufacturers and the market place competition along with the manufacturers' high profit-seeking behavior. Several studies were conducted to reach this conclusion and to prove this. These researches were conducted in the disciplines of medicine and chemistry where the data analysis lead to further studies and conclusions. These results were communicated effectively with the help of the communication discipline to reach the end-users. Thus these three disciples are relevant to have an insight into this research problem.
how would the disciplines medicine, communication, and chemistry be relevant and have insight on the researxh...
How would you incorporate insight from book or articles you have read, about caring for a dying patient?
Explain IN YOUR OWN WORD each of these following questions in 2-4 sentences. A)How have you seen branding at work in non-pharmaceutical commodities (i.e., shoes, food, vehicles)? What are the similarities and/or differences in how marketers attempt to brand prescription drugs? B)Adverse drug reactions are the fifth leading cause of death in the United States. Do you think most people are aware of this? Why or why not? Reflect on how you feel about this. C)Some would suggest that pharmaceutical...
This is a problem that runs across many disciplines; we have to adjust GDP for inflation, for example, which we do using the GDP deflator, and we discuss nominal and real wages when talking about changes to minimum wage. How might inflation help a company that has a lot of fixed assets? Would inflation affect a service company?
Chemistry Solution Preparation Help! Hi, I will be making several "batch" solutions that will give insight into the behavior of americium-241 on a extraction resin, but am having trouble figuring out exactly how to get the right concentrations. Solutions: I have a 3M HNO3 solution and a Am-241 solution that is ~100 Bq/mL in 0.01 M HNO3. General Procedure as follows: 1) Mass 50 mg of resin into micro centrifuge tube 2) Precondition with 0.800 mL of HNO3 (at varying...

PICO PATIENT OR PROBLEM- improving staff communication How would you describe a group of patients similar to yours? What are the most important characteristics of the patient?
Hello guys,
Here are a couple of questions from my Chemistry text book, that
I would like to learn how to figure out, some of them already have
answers, but I don't get how the answers were found, some of them
have some algebra attached and I am bad with algebra so I want to
learn how the steps were done, and some of them are ones that I
have done a little of but I am stuck in.
Problem...
If I could have the answer to
all of these that would be great!
This is the only info I was given
1. NMR researchers have an E. coli culture growing in a medium containing 15NH4C1. By accident, they switch to a medium containing 14NH4Cl. This culture environment continues for three generations (an 8-fold increase in population). What will be the molar ratio of hybrid DNA (1-N- 14N) to light DNA (14N-14N) at this point? Show how you came up...
How would you classify the MIS departments of comparative companies? Do these classifications have a significant meaning or impact that is relevant to company performance? How and why? Based on your experience, how do organizational structure and strategy relate to MIS needs?
***If you are able to explain how you got the results it
would really help me. Thank you!***
