IRB is an institutional review board it involves review and application approval for research projects in human research subjects. It protects the rights and welfare of human subjects. Required components in the project to determine the IRB submissions are a risk to the subject are less and reasonable for benefits, knowledge application, subject should be equitable, informed consent from the subject with proper documents, followup with the privacy of subjects, maintaining confidentiality of data, protecting vulnerable subjects, and conflict to interest.
The research involved the consumption of alcohol to human subjects is an experimental approach to identify the etiology, treatment, and prevention of alcohol abuse. this research project involves in ethical principles, it needs voluntary consent, this should apply justice. To implement this research it needs more than one individual. Responsibility should focus on principal investigator and IRB needed by the code of federal regulations. IRB review HHS conducted in research protocols in human subjects. this project needs screening for illegal substance use, alcohol use as a part of eligibility determination by data collection. IRB considers in involve the collection of data regarding substance use, illegal substance use in a sensitive manner to protect confidentiality and to avoid a breach of confidentiality.
