1) Calculation of drops per minute.

     Formula

        Drops per minute(gtt/min) = Volume(ml) / Time(min) * Drop factor(gtt/ml).

Here

       Volume(ml) = 3000 ml.

       Time(min) = 1440 min (24 hrs).

       Drop factor = 15 gtt/ml.

As per above formula

        Drops per minute (gtt/min) = 3000/1440 * 15

                                                    = 2.08 * 15

                                                    = 31.2 gtt/min.
