Proper immunization can have the preventive action on the various diseases in the society and it is the integral part of the health promotion. Hence there should be various community awareness programmes to motivate the community people in these immunization programmes whether conducted by the governmental or non-governmental organizations.

The advanced practice nurse plays a very significant role in the administration of the immunization. He/she maintains the proper storage, handling and administration of the vaccines as per the immunization schedules on the time in the proper primary dose as well as the booster dose.

No as per the federal laws there is no any need of the consent form  in order to receive a vaccination as per the immunization schedule as the part of the primary health promotion.

As per the patient education the nursing interventions should be based to provide the pre and post education regarding the proper dosing as per the age as well as the common possible side effects like development of the rashes as well as mild fever which is the genuine thing in the case of immunization then the nurse should educate the family members as well as the patients regarding these significant and but obvious events and advise not to worry if any these common symptoms occurs.
