Statement A: Sun gets its energy from nuclear fusion not fission. Nuclear fission is an in-research topic and has future applications in electricity provider but right now it is in its beginning stages.

Statement B: Fission reaction produces high amount of energy but still the temperatures cannot reach a million oCelsius. Fission temperatures can reach near maximum of 1000 oCelsius. Nuclear fusion does reach million degree Celsius.

Statement C: This statement is correct as the control rods are used in nuclear reactors to control the fission rate of the radioactive species.

Statement D: This statement is also correct. Nuclear powerplants undergo nuclear fission and atomic bomb is also a nuclear fission bomb.
