Answer: The biologics are usually given through injections as they are mostly in liquid form. The biologics are basically Proteins which are genetically engineered from human genes.

The biologics work in the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis as it interrupt the signals of immune system which are involved in damaging the joint tissue. The genetically modified protein target the TNF i.e. tumor necrosis factor.
