If you made a serious mistake that affected a patient, the circumstances would make it easier for me to admit it openly is the attitude of the staff and the patient who will consider that to err is human and my own conscience and sense of guilt. The circumstances that would make it harder include lack of empathetic attitude of the staff and patient, my lack of sense of guilt and medical ethics. It important that errors not be held in secret because healthcare is a serious industry and any neglect can lead to loss of life or health if not taken care of in a timely way
