Answer #1

The mental health condition Cathy is suffering from is cannabis-induced schizophrenia as based on the epidemiological, clinical and experimental evidence that supports an association between the effects of cannabis and psychoses including schizophrenia that may be caused. I would manage this as an Enrolled Nurse by making sure that Cathy is not able to abuse cannabis anymore. Further based on her personal cultural preferences I will offer to counsel using the support of her friends and family. If required proper medication of schizophrenia may be recommended i.e. the antipsychotics.
