The Transcultural Nursing Theory or Culture Care Theory by Madeleine Leininger. This involves knowing and understanding the respect values of nursing and health caring practices. Culturally competent care includes our knowledge, our attitude, and skills that support caring for people across different cultures. Culture influences not affect our health practices. So nurses have to plan and implement their care purposefully and proactively, then only it will be more effective. Cultural humility is essential for all NPs in order to provide better quality of service. Cultural humility helps NP to recognize difference in the meaning of health and wellness. We have to identify each patient's culture and its features. It involves their beliefs, values, health, wellness, illness, suffering and death.
