Answer #1

Nurse care practitioners is the emerging concept in developing countries like India. The awareness has not yet created. Health care has a limited scope to hospitals and doctors. The line of treatment provided by the physician is then continued rather implemented by the nurses, also any untoward actions/reactions to the treatment is brought to the notice by this cadre. They being involve in comprehensive health care of the patient right from the patient gets admitted to the hospital till the discharge/death of the patient they understand the response of patient to the treatment.

Nurses can provide primary health care to the patient if not tertiary. Allowing them to practice under the supervision of physician in the earlier stages and slowly handing over the whole unit could also work in the areas where health system has a doubt about these professionals in giving services.

Nurses when gets certified as nurse practitioner can and should provide primary health care without any obstacles.

Creating awareness through the clinics , social media could help in understanding their role.the measures have also been adopted by many countries and the results are outstanding.

Nurses practice independently and in parallel to the physicians.
